MFR core services

RC-01
Sports Rehabilitation
From the moment of injury through return to play, we analyze the demands of the sport and the athlete's condition and build a tailored rehabilitation plan. Going beyond treatment alone, the program is structured around the target return date, supporting return-to-play readiness and more consistent performance.
RC-02
Performance Conditioning
Using RONFIC equipment and sports-science systems in the B1 performance center, we design conditioning specific to sport and position. Power, agility, core control, and related qualities are assessed and developed under professional monitoring.
RC-03
Pilates Recovery Training
A reformer-based rehabilitative Pilates program built to restore performance and prevent re-injury. Grounded in musculoskeletal alignment and movement function analysis of professional athletes, it restores weakened core and joint stability and fine-tunes sport-specific movement.
RC-04
Medical Performance Care
A hybrid program that optimizes recovery capacity and performance based on blood work, body composition, muscle function, and other assessments. Working with medical partners, we analyze fatigue, sleep patterns, and nutritional status, then deliver data-driven routine design and tailored training feedback.
RC-05
Youth Growth-Phase Performance Development
Tailored training for children and adolescents to develop body composition, strength, and coordination. Training load is adjusted for growth and maturation, with posture correction and balance training. Middle school athletes and above also receive position-based physical development. Regular age-appropriate assessment reports let parents and coaches track progress.
RC-06
General Performance Training
One-to-one training for members new to exercise or returning after a long break. After an assessment of current physical capacity, postural alignment, and pain, we start at a comfortable point matched to daily condition and goals — applying athlete training principles to make change efficiently.

Athlete rehabilitation · 4 weeks

KBL — Return to play after rehabilitation

For a KBL player unable to compete after an in-season ankle injury, we addressed the injured ankle while rebuilding overall physical capacity. A dedicated trainer managed an accelerated return-to-play plan, and the player was back in competition in four weeks.

It wasn't just rehab — it was a complete reset of my body. Because the program accounted for game readiness and not only the injured joint, people told me my performance was actually better after I came back.

Ice hockey · growth management · 10 weeks

U-12 ice hockey — Growth management

For an 11-year-old whose upper-body strength had developed disproportionately to his skeletal maturity, we ran a ten-week program centered on lower-body strength, core stability, and posture correction. Flexibility and agility scores rose, and muscle balance improved measurably.

Once his balance improved, his hockey movement got so much lighter.

Chronic pain · gait recovery · 2 weeks

Gait recovery & return to daily life

A functional recovery case for a client who had struggled to walk for ten years. Based on an initial assessment, we combined neurologically focused care with tailored movement correction. The client returned to everyday walking within two weeks, and with continued management is hiking again.

I never knew being able to walk could be this moving. Now I walk thirty minutes a day and I've started hiking again after years away.

Real stories from the people who came through

From professional athletes to people simply wanting their daily lives back — stories of change their bodies registered first.

I was weighing up whether to end my season because of a knee injury. Through MFR's structured recovery and training I was back competing in six weeks. I can step on the court again without hesitation.
Player H
KBL Professional Basketball
Hip pain meant I couldn't produce proper movement on the ice. Once one-to-one manual therapy and performance training were connected properly, I could play full games pain-free.
Player K
Ice Hockey National Team
Recurring shoulder injuries almost made me give up on national team selection. But MFR designed recovery with performance in mind, not just rehabilitation, and I reached a career-best ranking.
Player P
Fencing National Team
Growing pains and recurring hamstring trouble were destroying my child's confidence. By the second week of the program he was telling us his body felt light and heading out to train on his own. His condition improved and his post-match recovery is noticeably different.

For ten years after surgery I couldn't walk properly and avoided everyday life. Back pain had long since ended the hiking I loved. Here, for the first time, I experienced recovery built around my body — walking pain-free in two weeks, and a month later I had my hiking gear back out. The direction of my life changed.

Gait recovery & return to hiking
I suffered from ringing in my ears for three years. I couldn't sleep without medication and no hospital had a clear answer. Here they worked not on the ear itself but on regulating the whole central nervous system through optic nerve exercise. It felt unfamiliar at first, but after a few weeks came a moment of quiet — and my sleep quality and sense of stability changed completely.

FAQ·FAQ

The questions we hear most

The things almost everyone asks before their first visit — answered the way we actually answer them.

I'm not an athlete. Can I still come?

Absolutely. Alongside professional athletes, My Favorite Recovery sees many general clients dealing with pain, postural issues, or post-surgical recovery. We build a tailored program for everyone based on condition and goals.

Is it manual therapy only, or is there exercise too?

MFR's strength is that manual therapy, exercise, and neurological care are connected as one. We identify the factors contributing to the symptoms first, then design a flow that addresses recovery and performance together.

How does the collaboration with hospitals work?

Where needed, we build more precise and safer programs on the basis of medical assessment and diagnosis. If a client's condition calls for a specialist opinion, we have internal processes to guide and refer appropriately.

What does it cost?

It varies by program type and goal. After your first visit we give you a transparent, tailored quote based on the initial assessment. We don't push packages.

How many sessions before I see change?

It depends on what you're changing — pain reduction, postural improvement, movement recovery — and on your starting condition. Some see short-term progress quickly, but lasting change is best planned over the medium to long term.

Who will I be working with? What's their background?

Every session at MFR is delivered directly by a qualified trainer or clinician. With thousands of hours across sports rehabilitation, physiotherapy, and performance with both athletes and general clients, we work one-to-one as a matter of principle.

What's the process for a first visit?

You can book an initial consultation through the website form or by phone. Your first visit covers assessment and consultation only — you're free to take your time deciding whether to start a program.
